Album Review: EXODUS Persona Non Grata

Exodus, Thrash Metal, 2021 Releases, United States, Five Star Classics

Persona Non Grata, Exodus album cover.

Exodus has done it again with their eleventh studio album Persona Non Grata proving once again they still have it after all these years. From the opening track title track this album grabs you by the throat and refuses to let go. From the melodic riffs to the face melting guitar solos sprinkled throughout each track Exodus keeps your adrenaline pumping and your head banging. You’re in for a wild ride until you get to the instrumental tack Cosa del Pantano. Thankfully you’re able to catch your breath because Exodus kicks it into overdrive with Lunatic-Liar-Lord featuring guitar solos from former guitarist Rick Hunolt and Kragen Lum of Heathen. Finishing off with two additional tracks Exodus leaves your breathless and begging for more. Clocking in just over an hour, Persona Non Grata is sure to find a home in any metalhead’s collection.
